Hawkins picks up win with the Renegades and a top three at Eldora

This past weekend, The 2 Brothers Motorsports Team and driver Jacob Hawkins debut the "Orange" Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw car Friday at Tyler County Speedway Middlebourne, West Virginia for the Renegades of Dirt Open Wheel Modifieds event.
The new car came through with fly colors. Hawkins piloted the 13 machine to second fastest time for the 32 car field in time trials. After winning his heat race, Jacob would start outside of the front row for the 30 lap feature. The Fairmont, West Virginia driver would go on and win the $1500.00 to win feature over Cody Parker, Tanner Wilson, D.J. Cline and Michael Jr.
The next night, the team made their way to the Eldora Speedway for the 5,000 to win UMP Modified Show Season Opener. After being too light on the scales after the heat race, Hawkins would advance to the 25 lap feature through the B Main. The driver of the Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw would start 18th in the feature, and earn a hard fought third place finish.
Top 3 run at the the 2nd Annual North Carolina Modified Nationals
March 29th - 2 Brothers Motorsports and driver Jacob Hawkins headed to the 2nd Annual North Carolina Modified Nationals at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, North Carolina March 27th and March 28th.
On Friday night 1,000-to-win prelim. Jacob finish third in his heat race after starting sixth. After starting sixth In the 25-lap feature, Jacob would race his way to a third place finish behind race winner, Kyle Strickler, and David Stremme.
$10,000 was on the line Saturday night. Hawkins started the night by posting the fastest lap in his qualifying group. Jacob would then go on to win his heat race. After drawing sixth starting spot for the 50 lap main event. The driver of the Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw car work his way to a third place finish in the behind race winner, David Stremme, and Kenny Wallace.
2 Brothers Motorsports has solid start to 2015 Racing Season
2 Brothers Motorsports and driver Jacob Hawkins began the 2015 racing season with the Renegades of Dirt South Open Wheel Modified Tour at the Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia February 5th thru 7th.
On Thursday February 5th, Jacob was able to qualified through the heat race and picked up a 6th place finish in the $1,500-to-win feature event.
On Friday February 6th, The driver of the Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw car was able advance to the feature through the heat race. In the $1,500-to-win feature event, Hawkins notched a 4th place finish.
The finale of the weekend was $4,000-to-win feature event on Saturday February 7th. After having issues in the heat, Jacob was able to win the B-Main event. The Fairmont, West Virginia came through the field and picked up a 6th place finish in the feature
Next the 2 Brothers Motorsports headed to 44th Annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida . Behind the wheel of the 2 Brothers Motorsports ride, Jacob was able to pick up 4th place feature finish on February 10th, a 7th place feature finish on February 11th, a 10th place feature finish on February 12th, and another 4th place feature February 13th.
On Saturday February 14th was the qualifying night for the Gator Championship. After suffering engine issues in the heat race. Hawkins started 23rd and storm his way through the field to picked 8th place finish to lock himself in to $5,000 to win Gator Championship feature on Monday February 16th.
After starting 15th in the $5,000 to win finale. Hawkins in the 2 Brothers Motorsports Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw advanced to a 7th place finish in the strong field.

With driver Jacob Hawkins behind the wheel the Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw chassis accumulated the following accolades which included picking up two Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour features wins, a UMP Feature win at Eldora Speedway, and the modified feature at the Dirt Track World Championship. Even 2 Brothers Motorsports owner Junior Nolan jumped in the car for the first time since 2008 and won a feature with it at Tyler County Speedway.
Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw is a proven winner, and is an exclusive chassis to 2 Brothers Motorsports. The new chassis will be completely assembled at the 2 Brothers Motorsports shop in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. The 2 Brothers Motorsports staff will go over setting up the new car with the customer and it will be ready to race when they leave the shop. Customers with the Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw will be provided the latest information and technology during the 2015 racing season by the gang at 2 Brothers Motorsports. Also 2 Brothers Motorsports will set up manual which will provide details on sitting up your Outlaw Series 15 by Shaw at the shop and at the track.
